I’d like you to read two books. Homework. Sorry, but it’s for your own good.
The first book is called Poke the Box by Seth Godin. In it, Seth lays out the case for why you should always be starting (poking the box) and shipping. By shipping he means completing.
It is a short, inspiring read or listen. I actually recommend reading it a couple times a year, as I do. It may help you find that new trick.

The second book is Negative Split by yours truly. This is the fictional story of Nathan Stiles, once a best-selling author, but now a middle-aged man going through many of the struggles we, as 40 and 50-somethings, have encountered. Nathan must look in the mirror and decide how to attack his setbacks.
Many readers have told me it inspired them, and I hope it will do the same for you.
